Move over the male jodis of Abhishek Bachchan-John Abraham and Ranbir Kapoor-Imraan Khan. After their 'dostana' and 'award ceremonies' act
together, the aforementioned 'jodis' have been pretty much in demand for many more movies and events. However, there is some competition brewing up
for them, what with a new couple arriving in town this season - Govinda and Riteish Deshmukh. The film is DO KNOT DISTRUB, a comedy by David
Dhawan.
Says a source close to the film, 'Mark my words, the film completely, totally and truly belongs to Govinda and Riteish Deshmukh. Their
chemistry has to be seen to be believed. They too are in a 'dostana' but of a different kind. No, they don't play gays; after all they have
Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta for company. But their camaraderie in the film is such that Govinda-Riteish would be much in demand to be seen in many
more films in future.'
A Vashu Bhagnani production, DO KNOT DISTURB was recently unveiled in IIFA. An out and out fun entertainer that also
stars Sohail Khan, Ranvir Shorey and Rajpal Yadav, the film sees Govinda and Riteish coming together for the first time ever. Though both the actors
have made their mark individually in many a comic outing over the years, this is the first time ever that a film maker thought of casting them
together. In fact, it's also a first for Riteish when it comes to working with master-of-comedy David Dhawan.
Now with David Dhawan-Govinda
returning after PARTNER and Riteish joining the show, there are bound to be signs of DO NOT DISTURB in front of theaters when the film is playing on
the big screen.
