There is a lot of buzz of going around in industry circles regarding Amitabh Bachchan’s non-performance on the Aladdin song at the recently concluded IIFA awards 2009. Ritesh Deshmukh along with newcomer Jacqueline Fernandes was to perform with Big B. But when the award function was held there was no sign of the Bachchan performing on the song. Everyone present were left wondering what must have gone wrong that time.

Our sources however revealed to us that Aladin’s
Sujoy Ghosh had signed a deal with IIFA without informing the Senior Bachchan about his performance for the promotion of his forthcoming Aladdin at the awards. So when Big B came to know only 15 days before the award function he immediately summoned Sujoy Ghosh and asked why he didn’t inform him early that he would get sufficient time for the rehersals. He skipped the performance because of less time and his involvement with IIFA.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Supriya Pathak and Saahil Khan.
