Riteish Deshmukh, who is known to play pranks, embarrassed Neil Nitin Mukesh when he showed his semi-nude picture from the movie "Jail" and asked why he was exposing so much. An embarrassed Neil said: "The director of the movie wanted me to do this and hence I did it."

But Riteish wasn't done with pulling Neil's leg and said: "Abhi aisa kar rahein ho to aage kya karoge?'(When you are doing such stuff right now, what will you do in future?)

Neil blushed and couldn't find words to match witty Riteish who, along with Boman Irani, has been hosting the IIFA awards for three years now.

Ashutosh Gowariker has done it again. After a verbal spat with hosts Sajid and Farah Khan at an awards ceremony, he had another run-in with Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani, who were hosting an international film award function held over the weekend.

It is learnt that the Jodhaa Akbar director took objection to a skit they did on stage. Although the hosts did take-offs on many films, Gowariker was the only one who took objection to their act.

Says an eyewitness, “Riteish and Boman did a spoof on all the films which were nominated in the best film category Race, Jodhaa Akbar, Dostana, Rock On, Ghajini and A Wednesday. For the Jodhaa Akbar act, Boman played Akbar while a starlet played Jodha. Riteish walked in dressed as Amitabh Bachchan in Shahenshah.

This was the choice of International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards hosts Boman Irani and Riteish Deshmukh who unveiled their dream cabinet before a packed auditorium at the Chinese resort here as the annual event marked its 10th anniversary.

The comic duo announced their choice that they said should have been appointed by Bollywood after the recent elections, much to the delight of the 15,000 strong crowd here Saturday night.

Cast members of David’s latest directorial offering Do Knot Disturb are going to IIFA. “Now that the strike (of new releases in multiplexes) is over Govinda and Riteish Deshmukh who are in the film will be performing live at IIFA.”

Apart from their witty jokes and spoofs on popular movies, Boman had even donned a Scottish skirt during the show much to the amusement of the viewers.

The two came to the organiser's rescue after Urmila Matondkar floundered as the hostess and kept repeating her lines and announced the wrong performances. This year too, the duo are expected to create a laugh riot on the stage.
